What this covers

This policy explains what Pocket Sweepstakes ("we", "us") collects when you use pocketsweepstakes.com, why, and what choices you have. It applies to the website and the sweepstakes-tracking service it provides — not to the third-party sponsors whose sweepstakes we list, or to the sites you are sent to when you click "Enter."

What we collect

  • Account info: email address and username, when you create an account.
  • Newsletter signups: email address, if you subscribe without creating an account.
  • Activity: sweepstakes you save, mark entered, or submit; comments and winner posts; points and submission stats.
  • Standard technical data: collected automatically by our hosting provider (Vercel) for security and reliability — request logs, IP address, browser type.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run the site. We do not sell your data.

  • Supabase — hosts our database and handles authentication (your password, if you use one, is hashed and never stored or visible in plain text — to us or anyone).
  • Resend — sends account and reminder emails on our behalf.
  • Vercel — hosts the website and its serverless functions.
  • Google AdSense — serves ads on the site and may use cookies to show ads based on your visits here and elsewhere. You can control ad personalization at adssettings.google.com and see Google's own policy at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
  • Anthropic (Claude) — powers automated research that finds candidate sweepstakes listings for our moderators to review. It does not see your account data — only public web content.

Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in — that is required for the site to work and is not optional. Google AdSense may set its own advertising cookies, described above.

Your choices

  • Reminder emails: every reminder email includes an unsubscribe link, or turn off reminders per-sweepstakes from your dashboard.
  • Newsletter: every newsletter email includes an unsubscribe link.
  • Access or delete your data: there is no self-serve delete-account button yet — contact us (see Contact, below) and we will handle it.

Children

Pocket Sweepstakes is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
